Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoon crushed red pepper
  • 2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 pound linguica
  • 1 med. onion
  • 2 bunches or possibly 4 boxes frzn kale
  • 6 potatoes, diced
  • 1 head cabbage, shredded
  • 3 cans kidney beans, liquid removed

Directions

  1. Place linguica in a pot. If you have a shank bone or possibly some beef you may add in which. Add in red pepper, onion and salt. Cover with water. Bring to a boil, simmer 30 min. Add in kale, cabbage and beans. Cook 15 min then add in potatoes. Cook 30 min more. Season to taste. Serves 6.
