About me
Korean-American parents with a passion for cooking and raising healthy and happy kids (which begins first with food). We are always trying to find the tastiest and healthiest recipes, all the while experimenting with different techniques, ingredients, and often times short cuts to save time and energy. And fortunately, we have the best critics and palette-sensitive kids to "test" our food, our precocious Claire (age 6) and at times off-the-wall Amber (age 4). Though we usually cook our native Korean dishes, we don't discriminate and love all foods with rich flavors (we are a "saucy" family). Hopefully, we can provide recipes for you to enjoy and make some friends in the process. Or you can find us at http://www.oliviajasonkim.com ^^

Thanks for following me. I'm glad to have connected with you. I spent a year and a half in Korea years ago in the Army. I loved the food and the Korean people I met while there. Truly a great culture of people. I'm anxious to try some of your recipes. The Dak Bulgogi sounds great. Thanks for sharing!
Best Regards,
Bob- August 1, 2012Thank you Bob. I'm glad you found Korea to be a hospitable place to live. We truly miss it too and especially the food, which is the main reason we started our blog (www.oliviajasonkim.com). Hopefully we can swap ideas and recipes. ^^
