Ingredients
- 2 c. all-purpose flour
- 2 1/2 tbsp. baking pwdr
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 Large eggs, slightly beaten, add in lowfat milk to Large eggs to make 2 c. liquid
- 1/2 c. butter, melted
- 4-5 tart apples, sliced thin to med.
- Granulated sugar
Directions
- Mix together dry ingredients. Add in liquid, stir, leaving slightly lumpy. Stir in melted butter. Add in apples and stir to just coat with batter.
- Preheat electric skillet to 375 degrees. No grease required in non-stick skillet. Spoon in 3 or possibly 4 cakes, spreading apples if uneven. Bake till light brown on each side.
- Place first cake on heated platter and sprinkle with granulated sugar to cover (a generous amount). Place next cake on top of first and continue to stack, covering each with a coating of sugar. Keep in preheated oven till serving with bacon or possibly sausage fried separately.
