About me
With over 42 years of cooking experience, 21 years of them in the restaurant industry, and now 16 years of experience in information technology and away from the production side of the biz my focus now is to document and record in digital format the vast knowledge base that has accumulated over the years. Several boxes of manuals, binders, notebooks, recipes, etc, and with 350+ cookbooks and reference material in my library, my current focus is transforming this personal hard copy document collection into digital format.

- September 7, 2010Well hello there Chef Ryan! Nice to see you here :o)
I am still trying to figure it all out....
More work to post here than on FB, yes? Unless I'm missing something.... - July 27, 2010Hello Chef Ryan,
I don't see you much on Face Book any more. The last time I found you on there was when you were reading the book by Julia Child and sitting there so engrossed in it. :-) (A man after my own loves and passions!)
Did you read the book "Eat, Love & Pray" yet? I have it at home and got it-without knowing they were making a movie out of it..but because it looked like a truly wonderful book for so many reasons. The title reminded me of myself too.
I did my first guest post on my friend Jesse's cooking blog at:
http://www.foodbuzz.com/blogs/2491252-guest-post-from-polly-farfalle-bolognese-with-zucchini-and-fresh-basil-for-garnishing
I hope this is the first of many to come and many more opportunities.
