Ingredients

2 lbs. stew beef
1/2 teaspoon thyme
2 tbsp. catsup
Veg. oil
1 lg. onion, sliced
1 tbsp. vinegar
1/2 c. water

Directions

Brown beef in small amount of veg. oil. Remove to baking dish. Mix rest of ingredients and pour over beef. Cover and bake at 300 degrees for 2 hrs. Serve with rice. Serves 4 to 6.
