Ingredients
- 4 med. sized sweet potatoes, boiled & chilled (or possibly 2, 1 pound cans of yams)
- 1/2 c. mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp. lemon juice
- 1/4 c. cream
- 1 1/2 c. diced celery
- 3 tbsp. diced sweet pickle
- 3 tbsp. diced green pepper
- 3 tbsp. minced black walnuts
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Watercress or possibly parsley, for garnish
Directions
- This salad is a Lulu - first because Lulu gave it to me, and second, because it's really good. It's an original Ozark Mountain recipe.
