Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lbs. lean grnd beef
- 8 ounce. tomato sauce
- 1/4 c. minced onion
- 1 jar (4.5 ounce.) mushrooms, not liquid removed
- 1 can crescent rolls
- 1 egg
- 2 c. grated cheddar cheese
- Paprika
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Brown grnd beef and drain. Simmer beef, tomato sauce, onion and mushrooms till onion is cooked and liquid is reduced by about a third. Pat crescent roll dough into the bottom of a 10 inch pie plate to create crust. Beat egg; mix with 1 c. of cheese and place in crust as the first layer. Add in the meat mix and cover with 1 c. remaining cheese. Sprinkle with paprika. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 min. Let stand for 10 min before cutting.
