Ingredients

  • 3 to 5 lbs. chuck roast
  • 1 c. onions
  • 1 c. green pepper
  • 2 cans Golden brown mushroom soup
  • Garlic pwdr
  • 6 potatoes, cut in quarters
  • 6 carrots, cut in quarters
  • 1/2 can water
  • 1 pkg. onion soup mix

Directions

  1. Mix together onions, green pepper, soup, water and onion soup mix. Pour a little of this mix in the bottom of a roast pan. Place roast on top. Sprinkle with garlic pwdr. Pour remaining soup mix over roast. Cover and bake 3 to 3 1/2 hrs. In last hour add in potatoes and carrots.
