Ingredients
- 1 lb dry beans (2 1/2 c.)
- 3 quart hottest possible tap water
Directions
- In a very large bowl, combine beans and water. Seal airtight with a double layer of plastic wrap and microwave on High till tender, about 99 to 115 min. Carefully uncover, drain and serve.
- NOTES :This recipe is a basic preparation of dry beans, that need no presoaking to cook in a microwave. Most dry beans will cook to tenderness without becoming mushy in about 99 min. Small or possibly very dehydrated beans can take as long as 115 min.
