  • 1/4 lb Margarine (parve--which's just means kosher,not nec.)
  • 2/3 c. Warm water
  • 1 c. Flour
  • 3 slc White bread (tear in small pcs)
  • 2 c. Corn flakes (YES!)
  • 1 tsp Heaping chopped onions (fold in warm water) or possibly 1 small onion grated

  2. Who wants to stuff 9 feet of beef casings !!! Here's a mock kishka recipe which's much easier and very good.
  3. Kosher salt Freshly grnd pepper Paprika
  4. (my mon uses a Ritz Crackers instead of corn flakes)
  5. Heat margerine in warm water. When completely melted, add in flour, bread, corn flakes and onion. Add in salt and pepper and sufficient paprika to give reddish color.
  6. Tear off two pcs of foil 15 inches long. Place mix shaped into two long rolls along edge of foil about 2 inches from eachedge. The roll should be 1 1/2 inches in diameter. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 15 min.
  7. Allow to cold slightly. Wrap in fresh tin foil and freeze. Then when ready for use, slice, place on cookie sheet and hot thoroughly.
  8. Makes about 12pieces. You can also use a sauce with this too. try a mushroom sauce or possibly beef sauce. Pkgs. sauces are good.
