About me
Marianna Pisciotto author of I SIcilian, was born in Agrigento, Sicily in 1959. She now lives in Miami and is married. She has one child and 3 grandchildren.Even though she experiments with many different cultural cuisines, her style is mainly Mediterranean.
Her travel experience has opened up a bounty of culinary cultures, which has contributed to the creation of many original recipes. She is a depository of culinary information and has been cooking since the age of 10.
Her motto is “If others eat it, you can eat too.” Our eating habits are many times limited by our culture, so always keep an open mind to new dishes. It is surprising how you’ll find more satisfaction rather that disappointment.
Cooking Influences
Her family. Seasoned cooks professional or amateur. Unseasoned cooks, just starting.
Anyone with a creative mind.
