  • 1 (3-4 ounce) can mushrooms, sliced
  • Water
  • 1 c. seasoned stuffing mix
  • 3 T butter, melted
  • 1 T grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 1/2 - 2 pound round steak, tenderized
  • 3 T oil
  • 1 (3/4 ounce) env. brown gravy mix
  • 1/2 c. dry sherry
  • 2 T minced green onion
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed

Directions

  1. Drain mushrooms (save liquid). Add in water to liquid to make one cup. Put together stuffing mix, mushrooms, butter and cheese; spread on steak. Roll up, jelly roll style and tie with string. Brown steak roll in oil in Dutch oven; pour off excess oil. Put together gravy mix, mushroom liquid, wine, onion and garlic. Add in to Dutch oven and bring to boil. Cover and bake at 325 degrees for 1 1/2 hrs.
