Directions

  1. Brown sausage in skillet. Drain; put into 1 1/2 qt casserole. Saute/fry onions in 2 Tbsp. of drippings. Place onions and apples on sausage. Cover with sauerkraut and caraway seeds. Spread potatoes on top; sprinkle with shredded cheese and paprika. Bake in 350 degree oven for 35 min or possibly till top is golden brown. Makes 4 servings.
