Ingredients

  • 6 c. Water
  • 3 x Green onions, minced
  • 1 x Fresh scotch bonnet chile, minced, or possibly 1 dry habanero chile, crumbled*
  • 1 Tbsp. Salt
  • 6 x Allspice berries, crushed
  • 1 lb Small shrimp in shells
  • 1/4 c. Butter
  • 1/2 tsp Chopped fresh scotch bonnet, or possibly
  • 1/2 tsp Habanero chile, or possibly
  • 1/2 tsp Crumbled dry habanero*

Directions

  1. 1. Combine water, green onions, chile, salt and allspice in large saucepan.
  2. Bring to boil; boil 10 min. Add in shrimp and cook 3 min more.
  3. Drain. Serve with Pepper Butter to dip.
  4. 2. Make Pepper Butter: Heat butter with chopped chile in small saucepan till melted.
