- 1/2 c. chopped onions
- 6 tbsp. salad oil (you may use bacon drippings here)
- 1 can string beans, liquid removed
- 1 (8 ounce.) can tomato sauce (or possibly ketchup)
- 2 tbsp. sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoon lemon juice
- Pepper
Directions
- Cook onion in salad oil till tender. Add in remaining ingredients and heat thoroughly, tossing frequently with fork.
