Ingredients
- 1 pound of pork cut into small chunks
- 1/2 onion, sliced thin into rings
- 1/2 c. minced celery
- 3 c. water
- 1 can fancy mixed Chinese vegetables
- 1/4 c. soy sauce
- 3 tbsp. corn starch
- 1 c. dry rice
- 1 can dry Chinese noodles
Directions
- Cook rice according to directions. In a frying pan brown the meat. Add in onions and celery and 3 c. of water. Cover and cook 20 min. In a bowl mix soy sauce and cornstarch.
- Pour soy sauce mix into warm broth slowly stirring till it becomes thick. Add in fancy vegetables. Serve over rice and Chinese noodles.
