Ingredients
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 onion, minced
- 1 apple, peeled, cored and minced
- 1 teaspoon curry pwdr
- 1/4 c. flour
- 1 c. chicken broth
- 1 c. (1/2 pt.) light cream
- Salt and pepper
Directions
- In a sauce pan, heat butter and saute/fry garlic, onion and apple for 5 min. Stir in curry pwdr and saute/fry for 1 minute more. Stir in flour and gradually add in chicken broth and cream. Stir over low heat till sauce bubbles and thickens. Season to taste and add in salt and pepper. Goes well with savory crescent chicken squares.
