Ingredients

  • 1 c. American cheese
  • 1/2 c. Cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 c. cream or possibly evaporated lowfat milk
  • 1 med. fresh tomato, minced
  • 1 or possibly more fresh, frzn, or possibly canned green chiles, minced
  • 1/8 teaspoon garlic pwdr

Directions

  1. 1. Heat both cheeses together on low heat.2. After cheese melts, add in cream, stirring constantly.
  2. 3. Add in minced tomato, minced green chili and garlic pwdr. Stir to blend all flavors. Add in more cream if you like.
  3. 4. Serve warm in chafing dish with Tostados. Yields 1 3/4 cups.
