  • 2 pound round steak
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 4 tbsp. butter
  • Dash onion salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic pwdr
  • 3 tbsp. flour
  • 1 beef bouillon cube
  • 1 tbsp. catsup
  • 1 can beef clear broth
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/4 c. lowfat sour cream
  • Rice or possibly noodles

Directions

  1. Trim meat, cut into pcs, brown meat in single layer in 1 Tbsp. butter at high heat. Remove as soon as brown, add in more meat till all is brown and set aside.
  2. Add in 3 Tbsp. butter to pan, then flour, bouillon cube, salts, garlic pepper, catsup and stir till smooth. Gradually add in beef broth, bring to boil. Boil 5 min over low heat. Add in mushroom soup and lowfat sour cream, stirring well. Add in meat. Simmer slowly till sauce is warm. Serve over noodles or possibly rice.
