Ingredients
- 1Â 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1Â 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp grnd cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp grnd nutmeg
- 1 c. mashed pumpkin
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 c. buttermilk
- 1 x egg
- 2 Tbsp. butter or possibly margarine, softened
Directions
- Directions:1 Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- 2 Sift all dry ingredients together. Stir in the pumpkin, brown sugar, buttermilk, egg, and butter. Mix well.
- 3 Pour dough into loaf pan. Bake for 1 hour.
- Makes 1 loaf
