Apple Sour Cream Pie Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 c. finely minced tart apples (peeled)
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. Flour
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 1 c. lowfat sour cream (Lite work fine)
  • 1 x egg
  • 1 x pie shell, unbaked Topping
  • 1/3 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/3 c. flour
  • 1/4 c. butter

Directions

  1. Mix 3/4 c. sugar and 2 Tbsp flour; add in lowfat sour cream, egg, vanilla and salt.
  2. Add in apples; pour into unbaked pie shell (9" pie pan). Bake at 425 degrees F for 20 min. Combine 1/3 c. sugar with 1 tsp cinnamon and 1/3 c. flour; cut in butter. Sprinkle over pie and return to oven. Bake another 20 min at 325 degrees F.
