Ingredients
- Â Â BROWNIES
- 1 c. butter
- 8 sqr unsweetened chocolate (1 ounce.)
- 5 x Large eggs
- 1 Tbsp. vanilla
- 3Â 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1Â 3/4 c. flour
- 1 c. chocolate chips
- 1 c. white chocolate coarsely minced
- 1 c. macadamia nuts coarsely minced
- Â Â MOUSSE TOPPING
- 3/4 c. heavy whipping cream
- 1 c. chocolate chips
- 3 x Large eggs
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 1 dsh salt
Directions
- DIRECTIONS FOR BROWNIES:Heat butter and chocolate squares over low heat in heavy saucepan, stir occasionally. When melted remove from heat and allow to cold slightly.
- In a large mixing bowl beat Large eggs, vanilla, sugar, and salt at medium speed for 10 min. Blend in chocolate-butter mix at low speed till mixed do not overbeat.
- Add in flour, blend gently till mixed, do not beat. Stir in chocolate chips, white chocolate, and macadamia nuts. Pour batter into generously greased 9x13 pan. Spread Mousse Topping (See recipe below) over brownie mix.
- Bake at 375F for 40 to 45 min. Cold overnight, then cut into squares.
- DIRECTIONS FOR MOUSSE TOPPING:Heat whipping cream and chocolate chips in heavy saucepan, stirring constantly, till chocolate is melted and mix is smooth; cold slightly. Beat remaining ingredients till foamy; stir into chocolate mix.
