Directions

  1. In Dutch oven, heat butter, add in sausage, make in small chunks and brown. Next add in onion, celery and green pepper. Cook lightly till onions are tender. Stir in chicken broth and rest of ingredients except rice. Cook and bring to boil. Add in rice, stir in. Simmer, covered 20-30 min. Add in shrimp or possibly crab meat, heat 5 min more uncovered. Serve.
