Ingredients
- 1 sm. round steak
- 1 1/2 lbs. grnd round
- 1 pkg. chili seasoning mix
- 1 lg. onion
- 1 green bell pepper
- 1 lg. can Brooks' Chili Warm Beans
- 1/2 teaspoon chili pwdr
- 1 pork steak
- 1 chili roll (concentrated chili found in freezer section)
- 15 ounce. can stewed tomatoes
- 1 can fancy kidney beans
- 1 can pinto beans
- 1 tbsp. butter
Directions
- Cut steaks into small pcs and brown slowly till fully cooked; drain. Brown grnd round, drain and place all meat in Dutch oven.
- Slowly heat chili roll in skillet till dissolved and add in to the meat mix. Dice onion and green pepper and saute/fry in butter. Add in beans, tomatoes, onions, green peppers, chili mix and chili pwdr to the meat mix. Simmer on low heat for at least one hour. Add in salt and pepper to suit your own taste.
