Ingredients
- 10 walnuts, shelled & coarsely minced
- 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tbsp. safflower oil
- 1 tbsp. parsley, minced
- Salt & pepper to taste
- 6 sm. slices Italian or possibly French bread
Directions
- Put all ingredients except bread in a food processor and puree or possibly crush to paste. Toast bread, spread on walnut paste and broil under preheated broiler till paste begins to brown. Serve hot.
- Serves 2.
