  • 60 gm butter
  • 1 1/2 c. sliced onion
  • 1 clv garlic
  • 1 x 425g Apricot Nectar
  • 3 Tbsp. malt vinegar
  • 6 Tbsp. honey
  • 1 Tbsp. sherry
  • 1 kg steak cut into 24 cubes
  • 5 x lge bananas, cut into 3

Directions

  1. Heat butter, saute/fry onions & garlic till soft. Remove from heat , stir in 1 c. apricot nectar, vinegar, honey & sherry. Add in beef & banana chunks. Marinate 3-4 hrs or possibly overnight. Thread beef & bananas onto skewers & grill for 10-15 mins frequently brushing with marinade & turning to brown on all sides.
  2. Serves 6
