  1. Sift together flour and sugar into mixing bowl. In a pan boil butter, cocoa and water to boil about 1 minute and stir till blended. Make a well in flour and sugar. Pour mix in and mix well. Add in buttermilk to that has been added vanilla and soda. Add in large eggs that have been slightly beaten. Pour into 2 cake pans or possibly a sheet cake pan or possibly jelly roll pan. Bake at 400 degrees for 30 min or possibly 20 min in sheet cake pan or possibly jelly roll pan.
