Ingredients
- 2/3 c. corn syrup
- 1/4 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1/4 teaspoon almond extract
- 1/4 c. almonds (or possibly pecans)
- 6 c. Special K cereal
Directions
- Measure corn syrup and sugar into large saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly till sugar is dissolved and mix bubbles. Remove from heat - stir in almond extract. Add in cereal and nuts. Stir till well coated. Press mix proportionately and firmly into buttered 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan. Let stand till cold. Cut into bars.
