  • 28 ounce Pork & Beans, Canned
  • 1 x Onion, Finely Minced
  • 1 x Green Pepper, Finely Minced
  • 1 x Tomato, Finely Minced
  • 1/2 c. Brown Sugar, Dark, Packed
  • 1/3 c. Dr. Pepper
  • 1/8 tsp Cloves, Grnd

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Drain liquid from pork and beans. pour into baking dish. Gently fold in onion, pepper, and tomato. Combine sugar, Dr. Pepper, and cloves till sugar is dissolved. Pour proportionately over bean mix. Bake, covered, for 30 min. Serve with Vernors L' Duckling.
