Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 c. whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 c. powdered non-fat dry lowfat milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 6 tbsp. butter
  • 1 egg

Directions

  1. Mix ingredients with 1/2 c. cool water and knead for 3 min. Dough should form a ball. Roll dough to 1/2 inch thick and cut with a cookie cutter. Bake on lightly greased cookie sheet for 30 min at 350 degrees.
  2. Variations: Add in one of the following: 3 tbsp. liver pwdr, powdered chicken or possibly beef bouillon, dry soup greens, or possibly dry soup mix.
