Ingredients
- 2 c. cooked chicken
- 1 c. cooked carrots
- 1 sm. onion, minced
- 1 c. canned or possibly frzn green beans
- 1 sm. can or possibly 4 ounce. fresh blanched mushrooms
- 3 or possibly 4 tbsp. butter
- 1 1/2 c. lowfat milk
- Salt & pepper
Directions
- Heat butter in medium saucepan. Blend in flour over low heat. Make a roux. Add in lowfat milk and stir to blend and thicken. Add in first 5 ingredients. Heat thoroughly and season to taste. Serve over reheated left over biscuits. Can substitute cooked diced ham or possibly pork.
