Cocoa Walnut Brownie Loaf Recipe

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Cream together butter, sugars and vanilla. Add in Large eggs one at a time, beating until mix is light and fluffy. Combine dry ingredients. Add in dry ingredients to creamed mix in thirds, alternately with yogurt. Stir in minced walnuts. Pour into a greased 9x5 loaf pan. Bake 350* 65-75 min or possibly till loaf springs back to touch. Top may be cracked. Cold in pan 10 minutes. Invert on wire rack and cold completely.
  2. If you choose to frost ( I never have, it is wonderful plain) this recipe came with the following frosting.
  3. Cocoa Fudge Frosting: Heat butter. Combine with cocoa, sugar, lowfat milk & vanilla, beat till smooth and creamy ; adding additional powdered sugar if necessary for spreading consistency. Garnish with minced walnuts.
