Ingredients
- 1 1/2 c. minced walnuts
- 3/4 c. shortening
- 3 (1 ounce.) squares unsweetened chocolate
- 3 Large eggs
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
Directions
- Heat shortening with chocolate over warm water. Beat Large eggs with sugar, vanilla and salt till light. Beat in chocolate mix. Blend in flour, then 1 c. walnuts. Turn into greased 9-inch square baking pan, sprinkle with 1/2 c. walnuts. Bake in 350 degree oven for 30 min.
