Ingredients
- 2 c. Chow mein noodles -- 3-ounce. Can
- 1 c. Nuts -- coarsely minced
- 1/3 c. Honey
- 1/4 c. Sugar
- 2 Tbsp. Margarine
- 1/2 tsp Vanilla extract
- 1/8 tsp Salt
- 6 ounce Butterscotch morsels
Directions
- 1. Combine noodles and nuts in mixing bowl.
- 2. Combine honey, sugar, margarine, vanilla and salt in small sauce pan and bring to full boil over moderate heat; stir constantly. Remove from heat; add in butterscotch morsels and stir till melted and smooth.
- 3. Pour over noodles and nuts; mix gently till well coated. Drop by heaping tsp. onto waxed paper on baking sheet.
- 4. Let stand till set or possibly refrigeratetill hard. If you like, wrap individually in small squares of waxed paper.
