Ingredients
- 1 lrg Beef bone plenty of meat
- 2 med Onions, minced
- 3 lb Okra, minced Salt and pepper Bay leaf
- 3 quart Water
- 1 piece bacon
- 8 lrg Fresh tomato or possibly 2 large cans
Directions
- Cook meat in water slowly for 2 hrs. Add in okra, bacon and peeled tomatoes, bay leaf, onions, salt and pepper to taste, let cook another 2 hrs, add in more water if needed. Warm rice and cornsticks are usually served with this dish
