Ingredients

1 lg. loaf French bread
1/2 pound softened butter
2 T grated onion
1 T prepared mustard
1/2 teaspoon beau monde seasoning
2 T lemon juice
1 T poppy seeds
8 ounce sliced Swiss cheese

Directions

Slice bread lengthwise. Blend butter with seasonings. Spread mix on bottom half. Spread cheese slices. Replace top of bread and slice diagonally, almost through. Wrap in foil and bake at 350 degrees for 30 min.Can be frzn before baking.
