Ingredients
- 2 c. chicken broth
- 2 (19 ounce.) cans white beans, rinsed & liquid removed
- 2 tbsp. pesto sauce
- 2 tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
- Freshly grated black pepper to taste
Directions
- Put broth and beans in saucepan and bring to boil over moderate heat. Reduce heat to low and stir in remaining ingredients. Simmer about 1 minute. Makes 4 (1 c.) servings. Nutrients: 496 calories, 29.4 grams protein, 11.5 grams fat, 3.9 mg cholesterol, 22.1 grams fat, 483 mg sodium.
