Ingredients
- 1 lrg Onion, minced (1 c.)
- 1 x Green pepper, cut into Pcs (1 inch)
- 1 x Clove garlic, chopped
- 2 Tbsp. Water
- 1 can Lima beans, (17 ounce.) liquid removed
- 1 can Butter beans with molasses sauce and bacon, (15 1/2 ounce.)
- 1 can Red kidney beans, (15 1/2 ounce.) liquid removed
- 1 can Garbanzo beans, (15 ounce.) liquid removed
- 1 can Sliced water chestnuts, (8 ounce.) liquid removed
- 3/4 c. Ketchup
- 2 Tbsp. Brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp. Dijon-style mustard
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 tsp Pepper, (1/4 to 1/2)
Directions
- In a 3 qt microwavesafe casserole, combine onion, green pepper, garlic and water. Microcook, covered, on 100% power (High) for 4 to 5 min or possibly till onion and pepper are tender; drain. Stir in lima beans, undrained butter beans, kidney beans, garbanzo beans, water chestnuts, ketchup, brown sugar, mustard, Worcestershire sauce and pepper. Cook, covered, on High for 10 to 12 min (low watt oven, 20 to 22 min), stirring after every 5 min.
