Ingredients
- 1 (12 ounce.) can Milnot evaporated lowfat milk
- 4 1/2 c. sugar
- 8 ounce. marshmallows or possibly 1 (13 ounce.) jar marshmallow creme
- 1/2 c. butter
- 3 c. chocolate chips
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 c. minced nuts (optional)
Directions
- Combine Milnot and sugar in heavy 4-qt saucepan. Add in marshmallows and butter and cook over low heat till melted. Heat may be turned to medium. Bring mix to full boil and stir 4 min. Remove from heat; stir in chocolate chips till melted.
- Blend vanilla and nuts. Pour into lightly buttered 9x13x2 inch pan. Allow to cold. Candy may be refrigerated or possibly frzn once it is hard. Makes 5 pounds.
