  • 1 (24 ounce.) can cherry pie filling
  • 1/2 (18 1/2 ounce.) pkg. yellow cake mix
  • 1/4 c. butter
  • 1/4 c. walnuts, finely minced
  • 2 tbsp. brown sugar, packed
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Vanilla ice cream

Directions

  1. Arrange cherry pie filling in an 8-inch square glass baking dish. Sprinkle with cake mix and dot with butter. Combine walnuts, brown sugar and cinnamon in bowl; sprinkle over top of cake mix. Microwave (HIGH) 10 min; rotating dish 1/4 turn every 3 min. Serve hot with ice cream. Makes 6 servings.
