Ingredients
- 3/4 c. powdered sugar
- 1/2 c. butter, softened
- 1 tbsp. vanilla
- Few drops food color, if you like
- 1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- Hershey kisses
Directions
- (Can also make with miniature peanut buttercups, Rolo's, candied cherries).
- Heat oven to 350 degrees. Mix powdered sugar, butter, vanilla and food color. Work in flour and salt till dough holds together. (If dough is dry, fold in 1 to 2 Tbsp. lowfat milk.) For each cookie, shape dough by tablespoonful around Hershey kiss to create ball.
- Place about 1 inch apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake till set, but not brown, 12 to 15 min. Cold; dip tops of cookies into Glaze. Decorate with coconut, nuts, color sugar, chocolate chips or possibly chocolate shot if you like.
