  • 6 x cooking apples peeled, sliced
  • 1 c. fresh cranberries
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp grated orange peel
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1/4 c. port wine Low-fat lowfat sour cream

Directions

  1. Arrange apple slices and cranberries in crockpot. Sprinkle sugar over fruit. Add in orange peel, water and wine. Stir to mix ingredients.
  2. Cover, cook on LOW 4 to 6 hrs, till apples are tender. Serve hot fruits with the juices, topped with a dab of lowfat sour cream.
  3. This recipe yields 6 servings.
