Ingredients
- 1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. butter or possibly margarine melted
- 1/2 c. lowfat milk
- 1 x egg slightly beaten
- 2 tsp baking pwdr
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 c. cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 c. cooking apple minced
- 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/3 c. packed brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 c. butter or possibly margarine melted
Directions
- Heat oven to 375 . In small bowl combine all coffee cake ingredients except cheese and apple. Beat at low speed, scraping bowl often, till well mixed (1 to 2 min). By hand, stir in cheese and apple. Spread into greased 9 inch square baking pan. In small bowl combine 1/2 c. flour, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Cut in butter till crumbly; sprinkle over coffee cake batter. Bake for 25 to 35 min or possibly till wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.
