I am a spiritual seeker to whom meditation is a way of life. I am also a computer professional having creative pursuits like cooking, designing, painting.
Cooking is a creative activity for me. According to my Master Osho, one can reach to the divine by being total in any creative act. I have enjoyed cooking since childhood, but only for people whom I love and care.
Cooking is one of the ways, through which I share my love with my loved ones. Cooking with love not only nourishes the body and mind, but it also subtly nourishes the soul of the person who eats the food. In this way by sharing love through cooking, my heart rejoices.
Cooking Influences
Though, I always used to see my grand-mom and mom working in the kitchen....they have not in any way influenced me to cook. I actually learnt cooking from a recipe book which I purchased as a kid. I tried some recipes from that book and they came out well.
In my school years and in my teens, I always tried the recipes at home taken from magazines, cookbooks, newspapers, etc. I have never cooked any of mom or grandmom's recipes during those years. But I have to mention, that my mom cooks awesome veg and non-veg fare.
I am experimental in my ways of cooking and always go for innovative ideas based upon my intuition. The recipes I have cooked without having seen on the internet or in any recipe book, have always turned out to be great.
