About me
My name is Adam Feinberg my goal in life is to please people through my passion in the culinary world. My instructors and people I know consider me to be extremely dedicated and a hard worker.
I am a Chef/ Owner of Fein Tasting Foods & Feiny's Rubs www.feintastingfoods.com
I'm LIVING MY DREAM.....going after my TRUE PASSION of Cooking. After many years in sales, I hung up my shirt and tie and now wear my chef's uniform PROUD!
It's the very reason I left sales and pursued my dreams....There is nothing better than seeing people's reaction when they enjoy something I have prepared! I am always in search of new recipes or ingredients.
I in the process of creating my first cookbook and . Originally from the East Coast but moved out here (Denver, Co) to be closer to family and pursue my TRUE DREAMS!
My mom was a single mom who raised my twin brother (is an international graphic designer living his dream in Washington DC) and older brother (is a landscape architect living his dream in Japan) and myself and wanted the BEST for her 3 boys.
I am also thankful for having the support I have received from my father & step mother, cousin & his wife. I couldn't of done this without them. Thank You!
Now it's my time to give back and show them how appreciative I am for everything they have done for me.
Chef specializing in Italian, Jewish, Mediterranean, Chinese cuisine.
Experienced Saute, Pantry Chef
Cooking Influences
Iris Feinberg. I do have the world's best mother anyone can ask for!!!!!! I LOVE YOU MA! For many years my mother has pushed me to follow my passion of cooking......The INSPIRATION and KNOWLEDGE I received from my mother, aunt, grandmother, and great-grandmother WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN.
I still cherish the many visits to Brooklyn, New York to visit my Grandma Selma and Great Grandma Ruth. When my brothers and cousins would be "playing," I was always at their side in the kitchen learning how to make traditional Italian & Jewish cuisines.....To this day I still make some of their dishes the same way they taught me as a little boy.

- July 27, 2012Hi Adam:
Thanks for following me. A great profile by the way. There isn't a day goes by that I don't miss or think of my Mother. When I was still working in Aerospace before retirement I spent a lot of time in the Denver area as we (i.e. Lockheed Martin) have a facility in Littleton. I'm looking forward to trying some of your recipes and seeing more posts from you. Thanks for sharing!
Best Regards,
Bob - January 10, 2012I like it when a man is capable of saying I love my Mother. It show that he is confortable in his shoes. I see that you are in your kitchen . I will learn from you ..Have a nice day..TonyG
- July 25, 2011Terrific profile...Love that Iris is your inspiration...that's how all good chefs should get their beginnings...moms and grandmoms! I hope that my kids and grandkids will remember me in the kitchen cooking good food...using some of Chef Feiny's recipes...Erik loves the matzoh ball soup, by the way :)
Best wishes and I'm glad to be able to be a part of this dream!
Robin - April 8, 2011Wow your profile is inspiring! Kudos to your mom who obviously did a great job! Looking forward to reading your recipes and posts. Ty so much for sharing!
- March 11, 2011Chef Feiny - I have an idea for you. Why don't you start a group on CES? Jewish Cuisine. I know you have a couple of family fav recipes up already on your page, but we are lacking a straight-up Jewish cooking resource here. And, with all due respect to tradition, I would speculate that your family history when combined with your culinary education, might just be a niche that your can develop into a big hit site. Ok. I'm ready. I have scmaltz...now what... with best regards - Amos

- December 19, 2010Adam...I'm so happy for you. How proud your family must be! One of my favorite cookbooks is Creme de Colorado...I received it as a gift from my dear sister in law who lives in Parker, Co. I have many in laws in that beautiful state..Englewood, Littleton, Boulder. I had bison, rattlesnake and alligator for the first time in a popular restaurant in (I believe) Denver. It was a restaurant with many animal heads, elk racks etc on the walls. What a place! I will get the word out to all my relatives about Adam's Catering. R U in Denver? Have you ever heard of Timberline Custom Kitchen/Bath? My brother in law owns that company. Anyway..welcome to CES...great recipes....great members. Visit my blog at cucinananette.blogspot.com. Looking forward to seeing more of your recipes, too. N
