Ingredients
- 2/3 c. soft shortening
- 1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
- 1/2 c. white sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/4 c. lowfat milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
Directions
- Beat together the above ingredients. 1/2 teaspoon soda
- Gradually add in to shortening mix. 1/2 c. minced nuts 2 1/2 c. quick oatmeal, uncooked
- Stir into mix. Mix well. Drop dough by rounded tsp. onto greased cookie sheets. Bake at 375 degrees for 12-15 min.
