Wheat Germ Oatmeal Cookies Recipe

Ingredients

2/3 c. soft shortening 1 c. firmly packed brown sugar 1/2 c. white sugar 1 egg

1/4 c. lowfat milk 1 teaspoon vanilla 3/4 teaspoon salt

Directions

1. Beat together the above ingredients. 1/2 teaspoon soda
2. Gradually add in to shortening mix. 1/2 c. minced nuts 2 1/2 c. quick oatmeal, uncooked
3. Stir into mix. Mix well. Drop dough by rounded tsp. onto greased cookie sheets. Bake at 375 degrees for 12-15 min.
