Ingredients
- 1 c. flour
- 2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1 cut up frying chicken
- 2 teaspoon paprika
- 1 recipe biscuits or possibly 1 pkg. refrigerated biscuits
Directions
- Heat oven to 425 degrees. Mix flour, salt, pepper and paprika in a paper bag. Put butter in an oblong pan 13 x 9 1/2 x 2 inch and set in oven to heat.
- Shake 3 to 4 pcs of chicken at a time in bag to coat thoroughly. Place chicken, skin-side-down, in a single layer in warm butter. Bake in 350 degree oven for 30 min. Turn skin-side-up and bake 15 min more. Then push chicken to one end of pan.
- Place biscuits in single layer on other end. Bake another 15 min, or possibly till biscuits are lightly browned and chicken is tender.
