Ingredients
- 3/4 c. Shortening.
- 1 c. Sugar
- 2 x Large eggs
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract
- 2 x And 1/2 c. of flour
- 1 tsp Baking pwdr
- 1 tsp Salt
Directions
- My friend Katherine shared this recipe with me years ago and my kids and I have used it many times for great cut-out cookies.
- Mix, cover, and refrigeratefor 1 hr. Roll out on floured table and cut out interesting shapes. Decorate with sprinkles (optional). Cook cookies at 325 degrees for 6 to 10 min. (till they are golden brown around the edges). For shortening I usually use margerine, and cut it up and mix it in. (Do not heat it) Butter tastes delicious too.
