Ingredients
- 24 ounce fresh rhubarb trimmed, and
- Â Â cut into 1/2" pcs - (abt 5 c.)
- 2/3 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
- 1 Tbsp. unsalted butter melted
- 1/2 tsp grated orange peel
- 1/2 tsp grnd cinnamon
- 2/3 c. golden sugar - (packed)
- 1/3 c. minced toasted walnuts
- 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
- 2 Tbsp. unsalted butter melted
- Â Â Buttermilk Ice Cream (see recipe)
Directions
- For Rhubarb: Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Mix all ingredients in large bowl to combine. Divide mix among six 1-c. ramekins. Place ramekins on large baking sheet and bake rhubarb 10 min.
- Meanwhile, prepare Streusel: Mix golden sugar, minced walnuts, flour, and butter in medium bowl. Crumble streusel over rhubarb, dividing equally. Bake till rhubarb mix is bubbling and streusel is golden, about 20 min.
- Serve crisps hot with a scoop of Buttermilk Ice Cream.
